Description

It's the pits when you're 14 and the only female on a small pirate ship. When she was younger, Charlotte was a regular tomboy, climbing the rigging and going everywhere on her father's ship. Then things began to play havoc with her boyish figure and her emotions. Her body kept changing shape--wider hips, thicker thighs, and those pair of gross blobs on her chest that seem to totally fascinate the crew. The men began to look at her in a different, scarier way, and she found herself having to keep her distance from them--even the ones she had considered to be her friends. Her father had also become a lot more strict and unreasonable about how she conducted herself around the men. Not only that, he seemed more distant and uncomfortable around her. If that wasn't bad enough, there was that awful time every month. It was scary and mortifying. She'd had to figure out what to do about that on her own because it was to oembarrassing to ask her father. When he did find out about it, he got even more strict. They seemed to spend most of their time together, the past few years, screaming at each other. Sometimes, Charlotte just had to get away from that stinky, sweaty, cramped world of men. When the seas were calm or they were anchored in some cove, she began to spend more and more time sitting in the cutter tied to the side of the ship. Surely, she thought in despair, there's got to be more to life than just this. ****************************************************** Score this time was Bryce 6 four, Jeremy one. I'm really getting tired of all these crashes. Credits: Bryce 6, Poser 6. Ship: "Aurore" modeled and textured by faveral (Renderosity). Cutter: Free "Aurore" prop by faveral (Renderosity). Figure: DAZ's Aiko3 realistic; her skin mat is "Betsy" by dalinise (Renderosity); "Pirate Hair" by Cris Palomino. Clothing: "PnP Pirates" modeled and textured by Cris Palomino.

The poor girl looks so fed up! I wonder what her future holds, will she become a queen of the pirates? Or maybe she'll marry a rich govenor on the mainland. Great story and render!

Oh dear, it's hard coming of age anywhere and even more so when you're the only girl on a ship full of men who are less then aquaited such things. Still, I cannot but hope that as she learns to adapt to the changes of growning up, she'll still be able to find her place in the world. ^^
