Description

Back in May 2005 I took my grandma on a cruise to Alaska. It was her first *big trip* anywhere - her first airplane ride, first time on a ship, first city tour, and first ferry trip - and more other "firsts" than we got around to counting, LOL. We went on a city tour of Seattle and part of the trip included several ferry trips around the Puget Sound area. I snapped these on the first leg out of Seattle. I don't think I did the clouds justice, they were just amazing. I think the third picture down gives the best view of the cloud cover we had. Only the bottom picture has any adjustments beyond a simple "auto levels". I had to use a couple of Photoshop filters on it to make the contrast work properly because the light was not at it's best when I snapped the shot. I was actually quite pleased with how it came out in the end though. How'd I do??? - Here are some of my other recent works (I sometimes post at odd hours, so you may have missed them the first time around): thumb_1365063.jpg thumb_1364349.jpg thumb_1363431.jpg thumb_1362773.jpg thumb_1362151.jpg thumb_1361525.jpg

Pretty good, young lady! Great run of captures there, K! They sure look similar to Newbie's Fort York/Toronto skyline shots. I like the painted effect you've given these photos. Photoshop filters definitely come in handy.
