Hi All, I started out using Bryce, Poser, Photoshop and every other arty program I could get my hands on back in the early 90's but sort of dropped off doing much these past few years. I spend 40+ hours a week in front of a computer at work and somehow tinkering at home just lost it's appeal. But this past july, in the face of my 40th birthday, my need to "get creative again" got the better of me and I am back! I have resolved to make one publishable artwork per day. I did this because I know from experience that without some sort of deadline I tend to overwork pieces to the point where I won't publish them because they irritate me (and they never will be "perfect"). I don't expect that I get a masterpiece every day but I feel pretty good about what I have done these past few months. Occasionally I go back and rework an older image so I always welcome feedback, especially any suggestions for improvement.

Wonderful set of images, K! The depth of field is sharp and well defined. I like what you do with the Photoshop filter; could you tell me which one you use to acquire this effect?

goodoldboy, sorry to disappoint but there were no filters, and no afterwork beyond a simple "auto levels" adjustment in Photoshop. The light the day I took these Seattle shots was just wonderful, I got lucky. :-)
