Description

Had we believed the scientists and the likes of "EAGLE" the planet Mars would have been reached in the 80s, with moon bases and space wheels decades before. What went wrong? This image is inspired (that's 'inspired') by Dan Dare. I still have to make a decent helmet for Colonel Dare, and some other details, but this is my attempt at a British space hero. The suit is a modified BATLAB Vintage army uniform. The collar is from the same source as the one in my previous post, as is the holster. The rocket and weapon are are from Geodesic250. The helmet and air tank are Bryce objects. The moon is the backround is a Bryce sphere with a very high resolution image of Io mapped to it. Hope you like this one. I think I ought to have Dan Dare done some time soon...I hope. Cheerio Iain
