Description

This sculpture stands outside The James Cook Memorial Hospital In Middlesbrough. I was visiting David when I took this shot, the human sipirt never ceases to amaze me!! I was alone, frightened and lost!! I could still see the beauty around me and capture it :-) I think I am one of the luckiest people here at RR. BountifulKnight & Wildgoha both helped me with editing and postworking of this shot. I have no tools available to me to do this for myself, YET!! My sincere thanks to Goha, my Princess and to George, my Knight :-) I hope your Sunday is peacefilled. Blessed Be. Hugs. Diane.

Fantastic human fantasy and talent! What a problem dear Di - buy new comp. Here is cheap and it must be thre, too! I know that you have now other think on your mind - but youi have to do something for yourself - it helps! MAC is nice but for this what we are doing PS is much better. I am very happy with my comp..I have all I need and of course sometimes some friends help me. But when I do all myself (all the time I do) I am more content. This monument is fantastic artwork!*****!

Beautiful Sculpture. I'm curious about this James Cook Sculpture as the person who discovered Hawaii was Capt James Cook. Could they be the same person or from a different time and place. Aloha

An interesting piece, it looks based on an ancient sailors tool called a sextant. How appropriate for Captain Cook. He navigated the globe with one. They are still used today. except the material they haven't changed so much in @ 2000 years. There are many electronic devices to do it with, but in the end, when you lose power nothing works better.
