Description

I know that this will probably not receive many views as it is missing the pin up quality that is most popular on Renderosity, but I hope that those people that view it enjoy it. The minotaur was built from a cow and the freak with a little photoshop magic thrown in.

Dear Ace, I thing it's really cool!!! And - I'd like to know more about how you did it!! I've got a project where I need a minotaur!!! Was the cow part a Poser character or was it done with a photo?? By the way - on my monitor at least, it's really pretty dark. I had to copy it down and pop the brightness a bit to see his horns and head. You might want to take a little look at that. Anyway - the freak that you mentioned - is that also a Poser character?? I can probably work around that part, but a cow head would be a help. I can build the hooves pretty easy. Your poses are really great - terrific fight scene!!! And - I hope old Herc knows what he's doing and gets a little divine help - the minotaur is BIG!!!! Super mythology action scene!! Edith Hamilton eat your heart out!!!!!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

The Freak is a little used figure by DAZ (not many people use him, though I use him all of the time. There is also a pretty good size section on him here in the marketplace)The hooves and horns actually came from a free set here in the freebees section called freaky devil. And the cows head was the basic poser cow from the animals folder rescaled and I went in to the hierarchy manager and made all but the head invisable. I just blended the edges together in photoshop and reshaped the neck and voila one minotaur. The texture for him is Raven from poser pros with a custom cow hide texture for he head and lower legs made by me from a picture of a cow. Sorry about it being so dark. I have a high rez monitor so everything seems light to me, hence my work tends to look dark to other people.

Give that freak what for I say! lol Beautifully posed and so much detail Ace. Gorgeous color here and the way you accentuate the muscles. I can imagine just how long this must have taken you to finish. I admire your talent Ace. First class! Steve :o)
