the night is raining
quietly
further away
Â
I'm standing
in front of my window
naked
nothing to hide
Â
I feel some raindrops
burning my eyes
my cheeks
my chin
Â
somewhere
there's a light
people are surviving
Â
somewhere
far away
Â
maybe
Â
it's you

interesting. poetry is so much in the imagination of the writer and the reader. the images that a poet tries to impart to the reader are so personal, that sometimes, we just dont get it. i get this one. coolage! and that render on the side over there...i would love to see a full size of that, with the ball dead center. good stuff, both of them

You write SO well, man. I was missing the prose you used to include with your images and now I'm glad you're doing it again.

I'm not sure I ascribe different degrees of sensitivity to one sex or the other. Relationships, for me, shift constantly from hard to soft, masculine to feminine, her to me. The magic is in the meld. And in your writing, of course. Mike
