Description

I know this one is late in posting but I had entered it into the Holidays Around the World Contest. At first I was reluctant to enter as I was going to use the image for Xmas cards. Well in the end I entered it and ended up winning. I am blown away and very thankful for Renderosity and the sponsor for this contest! So I guess in the end I get Xmas in January:) Ok sorry to go on like that, I am just so excited as this is the first time I have ever won a contest with my art:) Ok enough rambling:p Thanks for looking! ~Painted in Photoshop CS with wacom tablet.

My favorite part of this is his eyes. The wrinkles on the skin around his eyes make them look like they'd be tired, but even without effets, you've captured the twinkleness of the "Santa Eye". :)

whoa, wait. are you serious? this is the first time you've won a contest? that doesn't seem possible. you've been a spotlighted artist since i started coming to this site. and others. i've always assumed you won contests left and right. well congratulations on recognition long overdue! i like his wrinkles and eyes, but for some reason i keep coming back to the soft fur of his hat.
