Very well put..... I keep hearing people say that it restricts thier "artistic creativity" ...HUH???!!! It doesn't change your artwork, just the packege you present it in...The works stay the same.... I am a "newbie" here and was having ALOT of difficulty trying to make a thumbnail the site would except (size-wise) I just asked the staff here at Rendo for help and Four or five e-mails later (they were very patient (thanks Karen)) and Viola I finally understood...So they (Rendo staff) aren't trying to hinder ANYTHING...They'er just eating to the mounds of requests they get to make the changes...NO BIG DEAL!!

I guess I'd better go look up the rule change... Very wise words BTW!

Simply well put Meredith, but sometimes a Thumbnail can be misleading, and I pretty much like your suggestion :) I don't know if you remember the old VW add saying think small and on the corner of the page is a very small VW Beetle. I know that this is irrelevent to what you said, but an add like that is very thought provoking and it makes the person want to see more. And if a person remember an ad from twenty years ago, that add is awfully good. I believe you have hit it on the nose, you can have a hundred nudes on a page and one with no nudes, which one would you go to first. Plus we have to be very careful what we display on our thumbnails, we are forgetting that we are catering a lot of adolescent minds and that this great and beautiful country of ours is still very prudent. Well anyway, You have an excellent idea Meredith!!! Hugsss Frankie ^_^

well sid mer. a lot of the artists i've favorited have a "hook"or signiture style,like a music riff from a favorite song,in their work. i't's something i always look for when cruising the site. it' dosen't matter what size your image is. tf you've got a hook.

Since I've been doing Pin-ups, I just a crop the face to use as a thumbnail. But some have noted a certain smile/smirk/grin to my pin-ups.

YUp.. you are so right!!! Thumbnails is not the image.. its just a way of getting there... and the brabd is really important... always! Good point!

I totally agree! I've never seen so many people making such a big deal over such a trivial thing. And in the long run, it'll help everyone because less people will be afraid to open the site at work.
