@ l3la: finished the corncob I wrote a small tutorial, how I did it. unfortunately it is in german, but it contains many images and the important words (eg Dupliframes) are not translated. http://blendpolis.de/f/download.php?id=12276 the wheat is done by arbaro, a free tree generator. texturing of both is a mix of internal procedural texes and UV. the making of the image is documented in following thread .... in german http://blendpolis.de/f/viewtopic.php?t=9685
