Thanks folks! Cyanure - Yeah - me to!!! Rendering time is VERY much dependend if im using Radiosity. Lightwave will pull this scene off in 30 sec blank - without antialiasing and Radiosity turned on. And without shadows it takes just a couple of secs... One thing i just gotta love about LW - SPEED! Really LIGHTwave... :) The final render will propably take 30-40 hours i fear... lol I plan to render at 1600 x 1200 and a really strong antialiasing. (At this stage, i use only 5 antialiasing passes. The Enhanced High uses 18... lol) But maybe Medium will do (9 passes). And lightwave REALLY cloggs the whole computer when doing Radiosity / transparacny calculations... Cant even check my emails! :)

Lol @ renderfarm! This is coming along very nicely indeed Walle. That car looks so real. I'm toying with a few ideas myself, but none as creative as yours. Excellent work Sir! Steve :o)

If you were using Lightwave 9 you'd probably cut your render times by 30% if not more. Time to upgrade I think. The water as it stands now get rid of,it distracts from an otherwise great scene. Don't use Enhanced High Anti-aliasing as its an over kill, especially if your're going to render it at a higher resultion. The girl. Put some fear into her. Dont be scared, trash the BMW. Smoke. Use a particle emitter and sprites. Cant go wrong. Try to use minimal ambient lighting. The lighting you have set up looks great, adding some contrast will make it a bit darker giving it a more cataclysmic feel and mood too it. Great work.Done a great job so far. Look forward to seeing progress on this.

Reminds me of war of the worlds. Really great scene and the expressions on the characters is fantastic! Lot's of patience needed to pose them so perfectly. Excellent work. Hugs Maria

Looking good Walle, just a suggestion the water in the gutter looks too bright, maybe cut the diffusion right down...another wee niggle the lighting now looks like dusk, but the suns position is realtivly high in the sky, either change it's position or crank it back up ! ~Cheers~

Very cool work! But it seems difficult to me, how those legs can walk over the steel bridges between the buildings. The legs should be longer, or the bridges should be destroyed. Or just lift a leg over one of the bridges, to show they can move above it.

I was going to say that the legs of the alien are better but thebasstard made a point there. That's one very delicate alien to have not broken the bridge hehe! Love that you added a second alien, looks great and makes sense. You broke my BMW! :( Great work at it too :) The girl looks like she's floating a bit... Nice progress, looks wonderful!
