Description

Hi, here is another one I did not so long ago. This is Lion soldier, guess you all understand why,, cos his armour contains half-stylized lion parts. Trough longer period I had something like this in my mind, and recently I took some time and realized my idea. Everything except background was painted (oncetrated on soldier) For the background I used photographed landscape , I croped out piece of image and gave it some blur ,Had no need for detail in the Bg except the coloring. I wanted to draw carrot or sugar in soldiers hand , giving a look of "fedding his horse" but I quitted idea. Anyway, hope you like it, C&C welcomed as allways.

the helmet is just beautiful... i really like the little detail of the lightly folded/compressed skin back along his jawline due to the strap of the helm - actually, i find it to be a most brilliant detail...
