Description

My sister and I escaped our willage before the calamity struck and took everything we hold dear. We made it to the Shallow river when these things started swarming out of pitch black. It would surely be our end to if my sister didn't brought the Mateus Light of our holy church, which was erased in big fire that night. I will never forget that night, as long as I live... It's a short story I made up for this image, hope it clarifyes some aspects of the image itself. This image has meaning though. As a child, I was really afraid of the dark, and my sis' was the one that helped me overcome that fear trough my childhood. So this is a small tribute to Danijela. I modeled and rendered everything in Zbrush, and fine detailed it in Photoshop. The hair, eyes, tooth's, water, splashes, fire were all done in photoshop. When I started this piece I had in mind look of classic opera scenography composition and lighting, so I wanted to capture that kind of atmosphere in my image.(I nearly made big red curtains on left and right) C&C encouraged and welcomed.

Holy Mackeral! Fantastic piece of work on all levels. The composition reminds me of Da Vinci how every section is a work in itself. It's work like this that makes me want to either: A. Throw in the towel B. Strive to attain perfection Bravo and congrats. a 5 and into my favorites!
