Description

Shown from left to right St Lawrence Jewry, West wing containing Clockmakers' Museum, Guildhall, and East Wing- Guildhall Art Gallery. This area has history dating back to the Romans- it was a site of an amphitheater. Guildhall yard isn't a particular 'tourist spot', but I came across it whilst walking about in the city, what I like about it is that it represents London: Past (St Lawrence Jewry), Present (Guildhall Art gallery), and Future (Note the building being built behind). It was great to shoot this without many people, if you notice though, there is one dude sitting on the bench next to the Jewry :) This was taken during the weekend so in stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city during the week, this place is practically empty during the weekend/bank holidays
