Description

I thought I'd share with you some of the things I saw in Cambodia last year. As you probably know, Cambodia is steeped in history, both good and bad. We will start with one of the nicer things I saw, the Royal Palace. Later on I will show you some of the more sombre and thought-provoking images I took, and then on to Siem Reap, the home of the amazing Angkor Wat and its environs. Watch this space for a memorable journey around Cambodia!

I had seen old postcards of it, but not a new photo--it's a beautiful building--it looks well-maintained, too, which must be a challenge between the climate and funding!

Nice shot. When was this palace built? You got a clean shot without people all around except for the guy in the lower center. What is he doing? Did you get any shots without anyone in them? I like to do that with public buildings but it is often difficult and sometimes requires patience.
