Description

A second look at the Woodruff-Fontaine House, a fully restored three story French Victorian Mansion, in the snow we had here in Memphis a week ago tonight. This is the 5th post from a quick visit I made there last Friday morning before work. We didn't have much snow compared to places that get "real" snowfall, but it was just enough to place a white blanket over everything. This was taken shortly after sunrise. The previosy post of it's neighbor, the Mallory-Neely House, can be seen click here Thanks for stopping by! marshall

Mummmmmmmm I love this point of view on the Woodruff-Fontaine House. It's really a beautiful architecture. Every thing is so silent.... everybody sleep ? lol. Superb this serie Marshall. Hugs

Love those tall windows! Silent? Mmmmm...when you live in one of these the outside world seems further away than it should be. As if time itself is suspended. Your day can be spent sipping tea and reading a book and time seems to drag on eternally. Sometimes this effect goes beyond the walls reaching out to ensnare others.

A fantastic mansion indeed, and a great picture! Thank you for another view of this glorious place. I enjoy building architecture in 3D, and this and the Mallory-Neely place would be a lot of fun and a bit of a challenge to do justice to. I'd love to see more pics and POV's of both.
