Description
This is the Mallory-Neely House, one of four houses known in Memphis as Victorian Village. The Mallory-Neely house presents a unique Italian architectural style to the Village.
One of the other houses featured three posts back in my gallery is the Woodruff-Fontaine House, a three story, although rather haunted, incredible French Victorian Mansion - click here.
But they are neighbors, side by side. This picture was taken on my first visit there after a snow. It is the 4th picture in the series. The previous post, with links to the others can be found by clicking right here.

What a wonderful old house!! I love old houses, and Victorian architecture especially and this is one of the nicest examples of the Italianate style I have seen! This looks like a fun project for modeling. Thank you for sharing this!

I live in an old Queen Anne Victoria - large, cold and drafty.

Gorgeous house! The color scheme and architecture is beautiful! The room at the top of that tower is intruiging; imagine the cross lighting from all those windows! Excellent composition!

I adore these fabulous ladies, but having lived in one for years...when I see that snow all I can think of is clanking radiators and drafts! LOL

Beautiful shot. It's a shame people don't build them as solidly as this anymore. I feel that most houses built after 1900 just lack character. I will NEVER live in a ranch. :)

Fantastic old house! I wish those old walls could talk and tell me their secrets!
