Description
I was walking around looking for a park when I came across a church yard. I'm always drawn to graves, I don't know why.
So YIPPEE, my second day of snow, if I'm a good girl it'll snow tomorrow as well :D

The weathering is very emphasized by the b&w as well as the highlights added by the snow. Good that you will be good tomorrow too, lol.

She stood at the side of her grandfathers cold grave. Icy white powder covered the torn soil below. He'd been gone a long time but she still visited faithfully. Bending at the knees she crouched alongside the headstone and brushed at the snow. 'Hi Gramps. I'm back. Just wanted to say I love you I.....' A lump from the sadness blocked the words. A sudden crunch of footsteps in the snow made her glance around. A young woman stood there bundled up tightly against the cold, sympathy showing in her eyes and in the gentle smile on her lips. She held a camera in her hand, the strap from the equipment a useless scarf around her neck. She smiled at the crouching lady whose eyes were shimmering with tears. The photographer squatted down on her haunches, lifted the camera to her face and focused on the line of ancient headstones nearby, clicking and causing the shutters to record the scene before her. The grandchild turned and brushed again at the headstone of her beloved gramps. When she turned back to the other visitor, all that was left of the young woman were her footsteps to show she'd been there along with the memory of the sad smile." Thanks V. You inspired me to write again. Hugs friend.
