Hiddy Ho... So spring is coming and every where I look I see buds so I'm feeling inspired!
I went to the Royal Botanical Gardens today as the weather was perfect. And I was smiling during the whole outing as it was a photo mission specific. I was looking for the blooming flowers and buds, plus was so excited to go into the glass/greenhouses. This place is awesome. Oom Peit you would have a totally fantastic time in there. The Princess of Wales Conservatory is simply stunning, all the Orchids were in bloom. And the whole place smelt of them. IT WAS AWESOME!!!
Anyway while i was waiting for the sun to set i was walking around and came across these birds, aren't they simply stunning?
I know the focus isn't on the eye, I tried really really, but at 300mm with an APS-C size censor perfecting your focus is well... it takes practice, and I need more!
But you've gotta give props to the beauty of this bird!
P.S. Anyone know what it's called?

Incredible bird and well not a bad shot of it really! Yeah it lacks a bit of focus but the compo is good and gorgeous colors! Sounds like you're having a wonderful time there! #;0) Hope you're keeping well....
