Description

On these cold winter's evenings one has to find something to do so I thought I'd have a go at "painting with light". There are about 6 shots within this one photo which I have painstakingly put together in Photoshop. I have to give my husband the credit for being patient with me when I kept asking him to get dressed up in black and swirl the magilite around the bottles for me!! By the way, I didn't consume the contents of the bottles before shooting them, they were empties I borrowed from my son after he'd had a party!!

Hey now! This is excellent! I'm sure it took some effort to do but it was well worth it!

So cool! Tell your husband it was worth it;-) I love time-elapse light effects! Sometime you should get a zippo lighter and flick it with the shutter open for a second--you sometimes get a cool streak/spark effect--those sparklers from 4th of July are fun to wave around too;-)

It is very creative and look as if the lines are suspended around the bottle. Great display. (Yeah, I heard that one about borrowing empty bottles, lol!)

Ooooh!!!! Absolut Vodka!!!! YAAAAAY!!!! Country of Sweden indeed. Apart from Volvos i reckon this is the only thing we manage to export, lol. Kinda ironic that ya cant combine the two huh? Anyway....bla bla bla...beautiful work Elaine. I have yet to try lightpainting myself but you just inspired me to perhaps a go at that this weekend. #:o)

Nice idea and great execution. Partners of photographers do have to put up with a lot i think... "here dear, can you just hold this lens while i change it?" ;) Try doing the same (if he'll let you) with a full bottle, i think it might come out "smoother" if you know what i mean.

It is a fabulous work, Elaine. Looks superb, more than worth the patience of you both!!!! Yep, partners of photographers have too much to contend with!! Me, to my poor David, "Hurry up pet.. the light is leaving" OR..." Excuse me, can you please step out of my shot" :-((( Hope cold is better soon. Hugs. Diane

A great idea this serie, this one is my favorite ! The reflections of the neon colors on the bottle are incredible. Very creative and so well realized. A nice duo with my Whisky serie ;o))))

I found them, all 3. These are what i was hoping to see. Once again you are able to demonstrate that not only do you have excellent creative skills, but your presentation should be noted as being right on the money. Super work.
