I love the colours on this image! Very soft and delicate.... seems like you caught the hopper at a stand-still! Certainly not an easy thing to do... I like the way you've captured the sharpness of the weeds at the forefront, and the background seems to burr in and blend in with the rest..... very beautiful!

I found your excellent gallery while viewing your homepage after a comment was left on one of my images. This shot is similar in effect to the Chickadee shot where you commented. This hopper is shown in excellent manner in its own homespace..dof is used in a fine way and it works well.

What can I say, that hasn't been said before... This is a great example and presentation of an absolutely fine cameo shot, the delicate colours are just stunning, plus, plus, plus... It all works really well and I concur with 'tofi'. Well done BB
