Description

Another shot of these 'cool' formations. I guess I was lucky to catch them - it's all covered with several inches of snow now. (Brenda and I would like to thank everyone for all the nice sentiments. You're very kind.) Stay warm and Thanks for Looking! Ken

I bet these are not frozen solid? Please do not step on the ice, lol. How's it feel to be married now? Wonderful!! Right? :)

Yes Maam, wonderful indeed! These were taken on Jan. 22nd. The ice is plenty thick enough to walk on now (over 4 inches).

I still can't get over Mother Natures art ! two really great captures Ken, I think I just saw Yoko skating on the thinner ice ! BTW, I thought you both would be honeymooning by now or are you heading off at a later date ? Congrats again to Brenda and yourself. ~Cheers~

Jeff: it will be a little while before we can take some time and go somewhere, but honeymoonin' can be anywhere! ;^) Thanks! Jock: I've never seen anything like this before. Last year the same place froze but there was no pattern, at least nothing like this.

The patterns were most likely caused because of the rapid drops in temp this year. Its great you were able to catch these. Like most good shots if you wait a few minutes the oportunity is gone. Great job my friend.
