Hi there!
So we had a FUN weekend! Today was the most exciting though, as we went to an avery in Houtbay called "World of Birds" - largest bird park in Africa and one of the few large bird parks in the World with over 3 000 birds (and small animals) of 400 different species! It was AWESOME! You can visit their website here.
So I will be uploading some shots I took at the park, in the next couple of days. Hope you like them!
This is a starling of some sort - I think. PLEASE LOOK IN FULL SIZE for FULL VIEWING PLEASURE!

You did a tremendous job of realizing the fluorescence of the feathers. Great pose and excellent POV. What a coincidence we start the same theme this week! Is dit toevallig dat hierdie "pose" en die een van die vorige foto dieselfde is, lol!

a local city has a huge problem with Starlings.they have place propane powered devices that shoots harmless balls at the birds.so far it is working.many years ago they decided to perch(several thousands) in some trees across the street from Union station.I was down there one evening and the noise was so loud I could not hear the radio with the windows up lucky you being able to visit Africa, a dream I have always had.exceptional capture and I look forward to more
