Description
Well, we went out shopping today for a new camera, to capture the night out at the Hillbark and Cathy's birthday.
I've always wanted to create my own backgrounds, but never had a camera good enough and once I get my head past the automatic settings, I will be taking pictures of scenes, for example, the ones I'll be doing tonight at the Hillbark Hotel.
Taken with a Canon EOS 400-10.1 megapixel camera.
Cathy tok the shot and I let her finish her lunch first, so that I didn't put her off her food! lol
This was taken at the Royal Oak Hotel in Bromborough, where I used to play on the organ, in 1969.
Cathy, is now over a stone lighter after her strict Atkins diet regime.
I think she's trying to escape from me, a bit at a time! lol
Thank you for stopping by. I am well behind with my comments, because of work commitments and I will try and catch up, during the evenings next week. Your comments on my photographic expertise (i.e. turning the auto focus and other auto settings on there) will be VERY much appreciated, especially as I'd like to know how best the set the camera up for that restaurant tonight.

Nice shot. I am suprised the image is not sharper in detail than it is. You've got nice eyes too, I guess that was one of the things your wife saw in you. I just picke dup a Nikon D200 also at the advise of Zacko. I am still trying to get used to the White Balance settings. Well, 10 MP camera! Hey gorgeous! I use I knew something about cameras but I dont know nothing. LOL However I think this picture came out terrific. The only suggestion is maybe to have a bit more focus. There are some parts of you thats a little blurry but not much! Have a wonderful time tonight. Let your lady know I dedicated an image for you.....Shannon ;}
