To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

Not bizarre, dear Mina - outstanding. The way you've broken up and then assembled the parts in the picture plane is excellent, and few people can combine pictorial and abstract elements as successfully as you. Colour combination? Well simply up to your usual very high standard. Great work! Mike

How odd, about the strange little woman. There's one in my house too. I've known about her for quite a while. Sometimes she says things I would NEVER say, and she stands between me and my mirror every day, which makes it hard to see what I really look like! (She's quite a bit older than me, so I try to be polite, but her behavior is just so odd. She seems to live mostly in my bathroom.) Well, at least your strange little woman makes beautiful art. She did a wonderful job on this one! This seems sad and hopeful at the same time. Very well done.

This reminds me a bit of the more mundane definition of tears in a television image ... in a television picture, tears are a horizontal disturbance caused by noise, in which the picture appears to be torn apart. And because the primary purpose of television is keep the masses entrained and compliant to the gods of Mammon, tearful despair is the natural result. Jus' an off-the-wall thought and I'll keep quiet now. Well done dear Mina and I love the imaginative flight of artistic abstraction. Hugs.

I suspect there is an invasion of our world happening .. I too have one of those strange little women living in my house .. the one both Mina and "auntietk" speak of. Sometimes she's helpful, other times I wish she would leave as she gets me into all sorts of trouble. I love this image you have created .. or perhaps the strange little woman created. It is very beautiful the way you have reassembeled all those bits and pieces, and the colors you have chosen. Awesome.

I believe that 'strange little woman' lives in all of us and I'm always glad when she appears.:o) Haunting image, full of the intensity, and even sadness, that stirs creativity. CC
