Description

A little Valentines Day bling... :) Created entirely within Ultra Fractal... no postwork... ("Whewww", she exclaimed... dabbing at her brow with a lace-edged handkerchief while albino monkeys jabbered excitedly just offstage.) lol! It's just that I thought my hard drive was going to throw in the towel a couple of times when I was making this one. Does anyone know what function UF performs when one holds down the Shift key and hits the Undo button? I didn't mean to do that... I was just tired and it "got done". Man... stuff was happening all over the place and the drive was pinging and boinging like crazy... sheesh... but I managed to put the brakes on the whole thing before it did much damage. An old Chinese proverb says, "May you live in exciting times." Well... I'm all for excitement... but that was a little over the top... ;) Anyway... Happy Valentines Day to each and every one of you... with lots of love and thanks! Hugs! Helen :)

Wow, this is superb work, thank goodness you didn't delete it. I'll remember not to do that when I am in UF. This has the look of 'mother of pearl' and is a gorgeous pendant.

O M G!!!!! What to say...what to say...girl, you ROCK!!! This is bling in the truest sense of the word! How fortunate that you were able to get control of your 'puter, for the world would be a lesser place without THIS! To my mind, you know this program better than anyone I know! Bravo!

Another great image! I especially like the highlight on the pendant - that's a really nice touch as it gives it real dimension. Nice work, Helen. :o) PS. Don't forget to backup your .UPRs in case your PC decides to flip out again, LOL!

How you do this I have no idea, I certainly have to agree with that madcatter. A small frenzy in the hard drive is good for clearing out the dust (I know that there supposed to be sealed), as long as those heads don't dig too deeply and the electrons don't run into their anti-matter counterparts somewhere in their isolated digital universe. Amazing work on the hearts, one thing that you do best of all, and the gold work is terrific. The delicate lace background has great depth, the way you put all of this together in perfect symmetry is a wonder to behold. I hope you have a great one!

As the gossamer whisps of blues spin in their orbits, the pendant lowers the masterpiece into your realm of fancy. What a beauty! Indeed, a work of refinement. You might keep this piece aside from the eyes of the Shopping Channel so that the creative genies there don't slip away with 'your' creations.Preserve for posterity.

Wow Helen that is awesome. I hope your computer makes it through. You might wanna call a doc or give it some oil. (Do you oil computers? I never oil mine and it's doing very similar things.)

The "glass" around the pendant is a wonderful touch, as is the chain and gold mounting. Beautifully done again, Helen!

A lovely piece of eye-candy, Helen! Do you get candy called "LoveHearts" over there? They're heart-shaped, pastel coloured and have mottos on them eg "Forever mine" - this puts me in mind of them. :)

"LookAtThat," now! Sorry it's the best my "try at humour" can do. I'll concur with everything said by the others. It is an image to savour.
