Description

Every facet of this imposing building is original. The bar that you see on the top right was built by my friend Dave Silcock, from the original wood reclaimed from other rooms in the building which are now the kitchens. Dave is a very fine joiner indeed and I'd like to thank him for all the work he has done for us, getting our house restored. The whole of Hillbark is just awesome and was a very special treat to celebrate Cathy's special day. Clarity of these pictures were enhanced in PsP 7 and the layers duplicated as a tif file, added to a montage and cropped and resized to suit. If anyone can help me lighten up a dark exterior, without those awful red blotches, where the light is insufficient (taken at night with just a flash) I'd be very appreciative. Thank you for stopping by and I will be starting to go through my ebots, tonight. Steve :o)

To add light. Try this: duplicate your layer, desaturate and put in negative the upper layer with soft light for blending mode. Then soften this layer with the gaussian blur until you get natural result . Finish with levels after erasing or add and adjustement layer of levels. Another elegent way is to use HDRI (need special plugs). Can post what I got with your picture in the photo forum if you want.
