Description

"The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness." ~ John Muir

More infrared photography. Again, the long exposure produces interesting contrasts. The sharp detail in the still pine needles at the center and the swaying boughs of the trees overhead. I remember the scene being much darker, with a a beam of light across the pine needles and leaves. It is interesting to see how the IR world sees things differently. Lense flare seems to be more of an issue as well, though I rather like the effect here. Please click "zoom in" to see it full size, if you don't have that set as your preference. Thanks! -----

I'd love to see more photo's like this. The lens flare (ghosting) ads drama and impact - along with the swaying trees.

I don't know about any dancing, but that sure is a right purty IR capture, with the stark silhouetting against the sunlit background. Stellar shot, my friend!
