Facing away from the sun and towards a stand of bamboo from under a fir tree. The nearby lake reflects the trees in that eerie way IR has. I'd call this photIRgraphy. Its best to use IR during hot days (Infrared is heat, well kinda.)

Wow, like one of those deceptive openings for The Outer Limits where the scene appears serene and all is right with the world but it only exists in another dimension... Great shot.
