Description

"I sit alone in the shadowy bamboo grove, Playing the zither and whistling long. In this deep wood no one would know - Only the bright sun comes to shine" ~ Bamboo Adobe by Wang Wei

Facing away from the sun and towards a stand of bamboo from under a fir tree. The nearby lake reflects the trees in that eerie way IR has. Again, there is nice contrast between detail and motion blur. ----- Some Bamboo Haikus: the lacy, windswept shoot a sky reaches near a tall bamboo a young night the mountain smells on bamboo graceful, tall the windy, green mountain the water flexes between the mystical forest a curved, silent cloud a star blows near a cherished river a lonely spirit her long arm bends past culm young, cherished ----- Please click "zoom in" to see it full size, if you don't have that set as your preference. Thanks! -----

I'd call this photIRgraphy. Its best to use IR during hot days (Infrared is heat, well kinda.)

Wow, like one of those deceptive openings for The Outer Limits where the scene appears serene and all is right with the world but it only exists in another dimension... Great shot.

Yessirree, among the best of all your infrared shots! The subtle shades of white and gray mingled with deep blackness absolutely creates a dazzling display of beauty. 2Pynts scores again!!!
