Description

Recognizing the battered officer as Lord Toyotomi, just returned from the seige of Osaka Castle, Lady Komachi commanded her bodyguard to stand down. Credits: I created Lady Komachi using Victoria 2 (DAZ); hair by Kozaburo; Hanamizuki by Iso. The oribe-tourou in the background is by Honey. The gompa is a Vue d'Esprit prop. I created the garden based on some of the strolling gardens in Kyoto. Although not intended to depict a specific site, my main inspiration was the Ninomaru Garden in Nijo Castle and the Oshidori-Ike Pond adjoining Ryoan-ji Temple.

This is simply gorgeous! About the only thing that I could think of to improve it (and this is very minor) is to apply some texture to the pagoda-like structure in the background. Great image.

Thanks for your encouragement, johnnydnh. As for the pagoda/gompa in the background, I overlooked that in the excitement; silly of me as I textured the two roof elements. Next iteration. :-)

She just glows; wonderful scene. Would also suggest more plants along the waters edge, in various sizes for added realism to match the woman.

The colors are really soft. Congratulation :)
