Description
Night, dark, winter, alone. Train Stations, whether main line or commuter, used to be designed with a little style, panache.... to make the passengers feel comfortable. Now, they're designed for brutal efficiency, slabs of concrete buttressed by coloumns of iron. No stlye to them, almost rude and insulting, as if you don't matter. Just pay your fare and get on.
And still the damn thing is running late!

The photo fits your discription perfectly! I love the grainy effect for this one! And I agree with you assesment of the RR Service :( I took my daughter to the train station yesterday morning to, see her off on a trip back home. We were the only people on the platform and the only comments from the conductor was "I need your tickets and ID" and "It's that car right there, turn left, turn right and go up the stairs." LOL, and when I said thank you I got no reply at all. bummer.

Has a very lonely fee to it, yes. I like it but would suggest 2 things. Straighten the hoizon line and bring up your darks some more. Perhaps a slight color toning as well?

The gainy quality of the BW adds to the sense of cold sterility of which you speak. You almost sense your toes going numb from the concrete floor through your shoes. Wel done.
