Description
A salute to artists everywhere.... you know how it is. You work hard, creating, exposing your souls and ideas to world in general only to find that acceptance is a matter of money. We do what we do because of some insane urge to better the world, only to find that there's a better chance for survival if you would just conform, and be like the rest of "them". In the end, however, our obituaries will be glorious, for we will not be known as merely someone who paid their taxes on time, and lived the safe life.... but we will be known as those who did for the society what the society refused to do for itself. A glass raised.....

loved what you wrote, it goes well with the illustration 2, keep it up ...I would like to add that a seeming uniformity of "them" could be an illusion, everyone of those folks on the streets is unique and... each one of them might feel that she is swimming upstream

Excellent image and statement! Though it is not the primary force that drives me, I agree and feel the occasional need to express oposition to the sheeple.
