Description
A regular daytime visitor until I set up my camera and tripod, this Costa's Hummingbird now only comes at dusk, and always picks a feeder "flower" on the side opposite my camera. So today I taped over three of the four flowers, and set the focus to a point where I figured he'd hover before feeding. After realizing he'd been outsmarted, he sullenly sat on the perch to eat, and absolutely refused to hover. Now it's become a battle of wills. :-)

Cool! How far away is your setup? - If you're in his "personal" space you probably will draw the short straw... Maybe concealing yourself with a makeshift tent will work...
