Description


This picture is second best to the one I missed. I was standing on the deck as our cruise ship sailed the Red Sea and on the horizon there was this lovely range of mountains covered in mist in the sunset, and standing in the mist was an off-shore oil rig. This was going to be the money shot. I dashed down three decks to get my camera from my cabin but by the time I got back up on deck the oil rig had gone out of the left side of the picture. All I was left with was this tiny boat. Talk about the one that got away
