Description

I took poor Gianas gorgeous, delicately textured elf maiden..and made her a sort of biker chick. I didn't mean to--I wanted to try painting hair in a slightly different way (more smudgy), and paint snow, and try making a fuzzy background, and do it with pink, black and blue..and well, now here we have an underdressed Vicky with a sword in the outdoor temple. Parts of it I like very much--especially Giana's beautiful Sunsirae, who really should have had a more respectful setting! The Sword is from Danie and Marforno's Hero's Path, the clothes are painted (Uwe, I still can't paint boots;-)the hair started out as Danae's Aeris hair.

Haunted definitely is a good word to describe this scene. You've worked wonders with the character, clothes and hair! I wish I were half as talented as you. Brilliant work here!

A beautiful character, well dressed, too :) The whole scene looks like a perfect illustration for a book or a comp game screener.

Luv the hair but see what you mean about the boker chick, being as most elf things are dark or light like wood elf, high elf or dark elf. So from what you have here maybe a dark elf but not the old styled drow ones. The sexy naked legs are eye catching but tights may work better with the highlightes leather top, boots n gloves and a couple of small but well placed metal armour bits n straps. As for the hair,, have always loved the way you paint hair and dont think I have seen you do a bad one yet. The hair here fits the character well and the wind blown look also goes with the background. With the rune blocks in the background, maybe runed detail in small amounts to the armour she has aswell. I think this one is a case of you trying to hard to paint what you want others to like in place of doing what you are darn fine at doing.

sigh elves aren't what they used to be... :( ... i still remember when they were a bunch of grasshugging losers ready to be enslaved by my orcish hordes... during last friday raid all that i got back was a note saying: "orkskin boots: $15, orcskull cups: $10; 30% discount for new customers"... dammit... :( I don't think you ruined anything at all in there - she looks definitely dangerous, but in very graceful way as well - love her cold expression and her "balanced and ready to slice" pose - good work Lynn!! :D

Really a nice painting! Undoubtedly this adds another dimension to a simple 3D render except for some people who are the greatest and succeed without re-painting. This painting is also what I like in some of my friends like 2Loose2Trek or Claywoman, and here it is a total success. As I have commented elsewhere, I really hate copyrights just in the middle of the image. I never do that, in spite of the fact that I am a professional illustrator. Anyway if somebody really wants to steal your image, he or she can do that in less than 10 minutes with Photoshop's Clone Stamp Tool.
