Description

This is rendered for 20 hours. Changed the layout for the kitchen to get a bit better point of view. I also found out why I couldn't render. Thanks once more to oodmb for pointing that out. Removed some subsurfing on the bowl and glass that is on the bench. The "tooth" stool in front of the bench is not my design. But I did modell it after seeing it. Everything else is my design. I didn't find any filters to improve the picture quality in gimp to remove the noice. Any comments and critics is mostly appreciated.

Well, Tobak, you already know what I think about your modeling! Wonderful, as usual! Is this Indigo? I know you've been liking that. I don't know anything about it, so have no interesting technical information to share. It seems to me that with all those can lights turned on, the scene would be brighter, but I know lights work differently with different rendering programs, and I'm still working on lighting, myself. Big subject! Anyway - this is very good.

Looks good, but I'd pull that 'tooth' :P

this is a great scene, and your very welcome. in the gimp you can use a "smart gaussian blur" or selective blur filter. in photoshop you can use the same teqnique, or it also has a very cool noise removing filter (just found out about it). also, size matters! (in indigo as well as most renderers...)

Great kitchen! But no oven or dishwasher? ;) Your glass table and chair look great in there. I agree about the lighting, it's not bright enough--I'd never want to cut vegetables in there, I'd cut a finger off ;) Then again, not something that's easy to fix with a 20 hour render, maybe you can adjust levels in Gimp?

You're one of the best, my friend. The lighting is a bit dark. But that can easily be fixed in Photoshop (brighten entire image). Noicee is a problem I've had recently as well. Photoshop may help, haven't tried yet. Do "pull that tooth." It's nice, but doesn't fit well in this image. You chairs are PURFECT in this enviroment. The Fridge is great but seems too tall. I suggest adding a few more cabnets and a window somewhere to provide more light. haloedrain is right about needing a Oven. Place it under the stove.

I like the design, a bit too dark but it shouldn't be a problem for GIMP
