Canon 17-85 IS USM First off, i would like to reiterate the fact that i think there should be a "conceptual" genre. enough said on that really... So yeah - went out today to get some shots for the student paper of which i am now an "employee" if you can call it that... i go out and take photos, they dont pay. Simple plan really, but i enjoy it anyway so nothing to complain about. Part of my assignment was to take a shot of the cliffs in St Andrews as there are worries about their safety etc, i go to the beach area and this tremendous swell was there and mist was coming in off the sea, it was fantastic! so i took the opportunity to play for a bit as i had camera in hand :) Anyway - thanks for stopping by to take a look. First...I really like this but would like to see the shadow area in the foreground opened up a bit...to see a bit of texture. Perhaps it is my monitor and it is really there. At any rate...an excellent shot.

awjay helped me realize what I was thinking about this. Honestly, the shadowing doesn't work for me even conceptually. But if you selectively colored this and darkenend up the rest (but not as much as now) then I think you would have a winner!
