Description

Canon 17-85 IS USM. The storm brought a few interesting things onto the beach, and this plank got my imagination running wild about where it came from... a shipwreck? from a beach shack damaged in a storm? anyway it made for a nice shot... Did a similar thing in the postwork here as i did yesterday - although not as pronounced, i think it works better in this setting. Thanks for the constructive feedback you guys left yesterday, it did make me think about it in a different light :) thanks for stopping by to take a look. enjoy! Rich

Inspirational shot here Rich...You captured some real beauty here in some subdued lighting. I've seen days like this, but capturing it correctly is trickey sometimes, you had no prolems here. Eye candy~ Aloha~

A fine capture of the calm before the storm! The mood and the atmosphere are absolutely phenomenal in this image! The sky is rather angry, and yet so very beautiful in this state. The sand looks just so inviting--- unmarked and so perfect! Can almost feel what it would be like to step into this moistness with bare feet. Very beautiful and masterful photography!
