Description

Space 1999 was one of the finest scifi moments I had in my youth. Over the past years I stumbled across some so good 3d models out of it. The Ultraprobe ship was made by R.J. Andron, the Eagles by Tobor. The Orbital platform was done by me. Ultraprobe was infact a doomed ship, appeared in the beatiful ep "Domain of the Dragon" Cheers everyone !

Always remember "Dragon's Domain" as being one of the scarier episodes, with the possible exception of "The Troubled Spirit". Nice picture.

i used to watch it way back in the 70,s here is site to d/l space 1999 models http://www.space1999.org/gallery/cgi_models_meshes/index.html any lwo file that bryce don,t import can be changed to .obj in poseray and the one pov file there as well.

Great show, but better render! :) Loved it as a kid, and enjoyed the complete series on DVD. I have one of the 3 foot long Eagles, but it was dropped and damaged, unfortunately. Hoping to repair it one of these days.

Always good to meet fans of Space: 1999. This is a lovely depiction of the Ultraprobe during happier times. She's was such a beautifully designed vessel, it was a shame we only ever saw her once. I suppose though that added to the tragedy of this ship's story. R.J. Andron's model work is magnificent too. Excellent work all round.
