Description
hello there, recent painting, "Chiselled portrait", has been done in a particular manner. worked to explore the charm of simplicity, purity of forms, flatness etc.
kindly do view this from a good distance of about 10 to 12 ft. to make all the shapes do the work and give u a single form (in totality) to enjoy.
painted using tablet, in painter. self-visualized.
cheers all.
regards,
waheednasir.

I missed seeing this in your cg portfolio--I like the colors very much, and how you build up forms with your brushstrokes!
clifftoppler
Beautiful technique, and very effective. Did as you asked by copying into My Pictures and doing a single picture slide show (to get the black background), and yes the strokes did blend and mellow. It reminds me of those chiselled images of the American Presidents in their mid west (I'd have to look up to say where).
graemeb
You will have to have a go with some real paint or do you already there is a lot of tallent here.
Rorsdors
This is wonderful, so kinetic, cubist and colourful.
Bonci
Beautful picture!!!
bpclarke
Beautifully done. I like the treatment of this very much. Bunny

Just love it Waheed! What strikes me (again) is the strange way how you realize this imprecise style you use esp. in this one and using 'some' shapes to give an idea, just wonderful!
Tarpan88
Well done!! I love this style! Is that Beethoven?
ARTWITHIN
Awe! That is what I feel looking at this. I went the distance and it is amazing how it blends into a wonderful unchiseled portrait. Great colors and hightlights. A stunning work of art.
