Description
Captured 12/06 at about 7:15 AM in Holifield Park, approximately 1.25 miles from my residence.
This is one of many pics I snapped that unusual morning. Granted the fog isn't as thick as most of us have encountered before, but when it occurs only once or twice a year around here you can't be choosey. I'm a fog lover, so when I glanced out the window after awakening I scampered out onto the street with my trusty PowerShot A80, jacket unzipped and shoes untied, frantically shooting whatever I could before the mist burned off.
Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy whatever is left of the weekend!

LOl...dropp everything, stop everything grab a camera because it might one and only chance. I like this foggy shot, don't need to be thick as milk still shows nicely!

It is a marvelous capture enveloping the tree and beyond in secrecy. Worth the frantic run.

lovely the way the green goes to brown and then to green again before disappearing in the misty fog. Good shot.

Did you stop snapping long enough to enjoy the sensation of being alone in time and space for a minute? That's how I feel in fogs, even if there's someone nearby it's as if they have an almost paralell reality. Sorry, tired. BJ

mamabobbijo: no, I didn't have the luxury of enjoying the sensation of being alone out there. It would have been nice to lose myself in the magic of the moment, but I couldn't chance it. I was too busy concentrating on looking for target material and getting in as many shots as possible before the sun came up to burn away the fog, which occurred soon after.
