Description
Cartoonish render of the bubble gum trading cards I remember from long ago.
Tim Burton made a move from the series.
The gum was stale even when these cards were new.
Used 3ds Max and Vue for this scene.
Postwork in Gimp.
Hope you like.

I'm unfamiliar with the gum or the movie. I too remember some gum companies that put out cool works of art. There was a car cartoon company where the cars were alive. Don't remember the name of the cars or gum. If anyone reads this and know what I'm talking about can you post it in your comments, I'd like to see if I can dig up something on the net. Great picture.

You're dead on about the gum. Brittle and sharp and a taste almost indistinguishable from the cards. Always thought the design was ripped off from The Invasion of the Saucer Men. I don't know who got there first , the Topp's people or the movie guys. Great job of re-creating the ILM CG version, although the brains were a bit wetter.
