Description

The Capitan fished the bottle out of the Talak River and drew the message out and unrolled it. She paused and remarked over her shoulder, "Lieutenant Birdfoot--you're staring at my mating handles again. It makes me uncomfortable." She laughed to show she wasn't mad. Birdfoot shrugged and went back to scanning the river. He asked audibly, "What's the word from Squad Leader Pi? I still cannot believe that this really is a message from him! In a bottle no less!" "It's bad." She looked up and waggled her phased array radar plates up the river in agitation. "He reports that actual E-T's---aliens were at the Trow Workbee Crash site! Either they were recovering their tech from the wreck, OR they had some interest in the flying cities' developments." She extricated herself from the river water and tossed the bottle back into the river. It went 'Splunk' and bobbed on down toward the sea. She watched it float away, deep in thought. Birdfoot was jealous of her ease of emotive states, so fluid as a human. He waited for a moment and asked, "What do you want us to do?" She rotated and walked over to the 'Lesser claw of Heaven' plant and plucked the flowers from it. She remarked, "We have cross-bows and pnuemo-rifles. These flowers, ground up, have the most potent paralytic poison on the planet. We are going to strike the Flying City 64 Scav base at noon." Birdfoot was frightened by her intensity. He asked, "Why now?" She walked up the bank and said, "You'll lead the reserve armed troopers through the breach. Myself, Goldbutt, Claw, and Greentoes will sneak in leading the commando team with melee weapons and eliminate the sentries, and blow a hole in the perimeter. When you see the hole, absolute radio silence is voided and full attack is on." She climbed up the ladder, followed by Birdfoot. He remarked, slinging his pulse-blaster long arm, "If this attack works, it'll go down in history!" She turned and pulled him up. She remarked, "History is for the bold, Lieutenant. Seize the day!" She told the Mark 2 sentry to keep watch, and went inside to bark orders and finalize orders. Captain Rose had a plan to foil their sensors and gain her objective. Knowledge of aliens on her planet up to who knows what, really bothered her, but first things first. --to be continued-- Media is Poser 6, Wings3d, and Blacksmith Suite 2.2
