Description
While shooting around some old buildings a couple of weeks ago I came upon an old abandoned brick building from around the turn of the century (not this century - the previous one), and nature was well on its way to reclaim the land. Or at least co-exist.
At a few places trees were literally growing right out of the bricks, and nowhere near the ground either! How they survive I haven't the slightest idea, but they looked to be extremely healthy.
Can't wait for spring so I can shoot them with leaves.

It will look great with leaves -- and does now too. It is amazing how nature re-asserts itself and how life can spring from almost anywhere!

Here in the rockies it's amazing how trees will grow from near vertical granite faces. This though is WILD. You can imagine it working the bricks slowly apart, until eventually...
