Born in Hilo, Hawaii and class of '66, I became very active in Barbells, Judo and love striking the heavy/speed bag. I've learned to Rollerblade and bike ride which is a very health sport. But time doesn't stop for anyone including for me. So my good friend Dave aka punaguy got me started in taking pictures. I'm having fun taking pictures especially hiking the mountains. I'm enjoying seeing the world thru your post on Renderosity. Mahalo and Aloha....Errol

I'm thinking maybe the horse whispered to the cowboy before the flag dropped for the run that he thought the cowboy wasn't man enough to rope the steer...:-) ... and this is the cowboy's retort... LOL!
babuci
LOL...isn't that horse actually smiling at him...LOL Great shot Errol!

Dear Errol, That's a really funny shot!! I'm not sure why he'd have his tounge out, although it could be as isacos says just a gensture on of centration! I've seen several athletes that do stuff like that!! And most of them don't even know they do it!!! That is really an interesting set of tack on the horse. I'm not quite sure what all that stuff does. I'll try to remember to send one of my rodeo friends over for a look so maybe he can explain it all!!! You rodeo pictures are really cool!! Great action and super candid shots like this!!!! Great work!!!! Im on the downhill run now!!! Im gonna ride as an observer in the Citation X tomorrow while someone else does their final in-flight training and then does their checkride!! Itll give me a good preview of what Ill be doing on Friday!! Its been a lot of fun but Im gonna appreciate things slowing down a little!!! And - all my maternal instincts went wild tonight when I received an e-mail from home!! If you havent seen it already, check out my latest post to see my little guys at home waiting so patiently for me to get back!!!! (I lead a VERY strange life!!!!!) ;-) While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to need to continue doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have much time right now to write my usual wacko stuff! Ill be back on March 3rd!! Love ya!!! Babuci is right - the horse is laughing, or at least smiling. Looks like great comraderie between the two of them. Great capture, and nice clear shot!
