Mmmm....Richard, I can see a very slight difference, the left seems a tad darker, which makes the colours on the right one look a bit more washed out, other than that, you have two fine detailed captures ! ~Cheers~

I think the one on the right is a bit crisper, beautiful plate Richard.

This is a bit tricky- especially with my tri-focals- but the plate on the left appears to be larger and not as sharp as the image on the right. I wonder if the gray background on the left has anything to do with it? At any rate it is an excellent photo and a superb visually anomaly. Good job!!!

The one on the left is more neutral, the smaller the highlight the less there is to paint out to make a texture so it would be the better one for making some fancy plates 3D. So if ay got some more of these style of shots we can include some fancy plates with WWS8 - The Bakery :-)

Dear Richard, If this were a test, I'd definitely flunk! I looked at both pretty closely in the large size - then screen shot them and overlayed them and still don't see much different! About the same sharpness, same color range - anything else I'd chalk up to minute differences in the flash. Superimposed like that with the wall removed, they look very similar!!!!! Any next time - warn us the day before if you're gonna have a test!!!!!!! ;-) I promise I'll studyu the next time!!! HONEST!!!!!!!!!!! ;-) This afternoon is the big moment - going for my checkride in the Citation X!!! Woo-Hoo!!!! (I love the smell of jet fuel!!!!!!!!) Actually, that might be a good time for everyone to take cover while a wacko blond is punching hole in the sky!!! Of course, Ill mostly be around Wichita, Kansas, so most folks are probably pretty safe - and Ill be on the short leash of a flight examiner! However, I did think it was pretty tacky of the insurance folks to cancel the insurance of everyone in Kansas for the duration of my flight!!! ;-) What a bunch of creeps!!!! Ill be back sometime tomorrow - still trying to figure out how Im gonna get back to San Antonio, Texas to pick up my car so I can then drive back to Houston!! Unfortunately I dont get to take the Citation X home as a souvenir!!!!! Darn!!!! (And yes, I did ask!!!!!) ;-) Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

O_O I believe that the photo of the right is more clearer, but the changes are very slight. Great capture Richard! :)

Not really great of a difference - other than the right one has produced a more natural white!

A very interesting comparison! Both plates have got the same light and the background looks different only! Wonderfully done!!!

appears to be a tiny bit of noise in the first, making the 2nd better...and the colors are better too

It's hard to say, each has it's own merit. Surprised at the difference in background color between the two. Interesting comparison.

Oh, I love to play games! I think the one on the left is slightly under-exposed, so I like the one on the right best. Is there a prize??

Prefer the one on the right but I don't think it's the cameras...I think there's a slight difference in the angle of view and how close you are. The left one is nearer and slightly off to the side. This is a gorgeous plate anyway you capture it!

I see a few more details in the right one, but the colors are a bit brighter in places. The left one is a little darker. These are small details at first glance. This is an interesting experiment with cameras.

If same camera and same lens and same flash, then something is awry. There are subtle differences. But only slight! Beautiful plate and capture.
