Description
After Alfred Wainwright died in 1991, per his request in one of his Lake District guides, he had his ashes scattered by 'Innominate Tarn' on Haystacks near Buttermere; his favourite Cumbrian peak. I think I'll have mine scattered here, on the approach to Watendlath Tarn, surely one of the most peaceful & beautiful places in the UK. Just no time soon I hope!!!!
Thanks for looking & any comments, have a great weekend!

Gasp!!! What a gorgeous spot!!! Looks like a grand place for a final resting place! We were always big fans of the britcoms that they show on PBS tv station on the weekends, and this reminds me so much of the scenery that they show in "Last of the Summer Wine". Wondering to myself if it is the same area. One of the prettiest spots you show here that I have seen in a long time.
