Description
Well, I didn't know which genre this photo should fall into, so I chose humor. Gallows, perhaps?
On the same church grounds where I photographed the lovely amaryllis flower I posted on 2/28, sits this water fountain, definitely neglected, with weed infestation and the metal encrusted with calcium and other hard minerals that are so prominent in the well water that supplies sacred H2O to this sometimes fair city. But that's okay, the city's health department claims it's safe to drink. Pardon my skepticism, but I don't think so. Can you say, "kidney stones and calcified arteries," baby? And, furthermore, it tastes like crap.
Ergo, I drink only bottled spring water.
In any event, if the church elders or personnel can grow and tend such lovely plants and flowers, can't they clean up their cruddy water fountain?
Oh well, since I was just passing through on their property, this is really none of my business.
Thanks for dropping by, and have a drink on me, matey!

I drink bottle water because I do not like the taste of tap water. excellent find and capture. 10 years ago would you believe that to drink a bottle of water would cost above a dollar.often a can of beer can be bought for less

Funny shot Harry, but a good idea too to grow some green in a not in used fountain!
