It's good to have somebody around Who knows stuff, And shares what he knows Without exacting a price. Talented? You have no idea. Where all that music comes from, I'll never know. It just flows out of him Like water. He tells me I could write a song too. I think I'd better stick with lyrics! The man has many fine qualities. What gets me every time, though, Is his smile. Spontaneous, Contagious, Eye-reaching, Energy-producing, It surprises and includes, Rewards and redeems, Says sorry and thank you With equal grace. Serious conversation. Concentration conversation. Education conversation. Frowning, Puzzling it out. Light dawns! FLASH! There's the smile. Makes it a pleasure to go to work. (When you read this, Will you smile that little half-smile That says you're embarrassed And you know you're gonna have to Accept another compliment?
