Techie stuff:
Dogwaffle, with Wacom. Just a little P/S smudge to help out with the fiery, smoky bits.
Serious stuff:
This is dedicated to those who have been down and almost out, and have risen from the ashes to fight again.
Not-quite-so-serious, yet still true stuff:
I have learned a very valuable lesson, posting my artwork here on Renderosity, and that is this: I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA which of my images y'all will like! Sometimes I do something that I think is really great, and people say, "yes dear, that's very nice." Sometimes I do something I think is just . . . fine. Good enough to post, but not my personal favorite. Lovely comments and five stars all around! Of course sometimes I'm right - I love it, you love it, happy times!
Whether you will like this one or not? No prediction.
Either way - thank you all for your kind comments on my past work. I'm enjoying the heck out of my Renderosity experience!

Hi hon! We all have that experience. I think it's because we all like different things. I have fruit images and theme in my kitchen. I love fruit and still lifes with fruit. I just do even though I rarey eat it, lol. I had some friends over for a gathering one night and one of the girls commented on how lovely my home was but that she did not care for the fruit at all. I laughed and was not offended because I like the fruit. She doesn't have to live with it, I do :) Our art is the same way. My gallery could be divided into two themes...fantasy art and home art. I probably confound the people who have made me a favorite, lol. Someone who likes fantasy opens an ebot to find a kitchen scene, lol. I find something pleasing in all images and sometimes one just stands out for me. This one is very nice because I love how you handled the flames and swirls :)

Great feathery feeling Tara. And I like the rising from the ashes! (David and Phoenix was one of my favorite books as a kid). I always appreciate how genuine your comments and outlook on all. We love ya!

I like it and I like the colors too :) I like the thoughts of the serious stuff too. That is indeed nice :)
